Why Polythene?

Polythene offers a cost effective packaging solution. It is strong and versatile, flexible for hard to pack items, easily recyclable and available in virgin and recycled forms. Degradable bags and films are also available.

Polythene Films

Polythene Films Available as tubing or sheeting, our films are supplied on rolls which are ideal for wrapping outsize or awkwardly shaped items. These films are supplied as a continuous roll which can be cut or heat-sealed to any desired size.

LDPE, MDPE and HDPE films and bags are available in clear and coloured options.

Food Grade Bags

Food grade bags are at the centre of our production at Craigavon Plastics. Our commitment to quality is underlined by our accreditation to the BRC/IOP Standard ensuring safety and consistent quality in our packaging. We are accredited to produce packaging suitable for direct contact with food products or other hygiene-sensitive products.

Our food grade packaging complies with all current EU legislation and our QC department can supply all the packaging related information you require for your own audit purposes.

Refuse Sacks

We stock a wide range of very competitively priced refuse sacks. Our stock lines are suitable for most sizes and styles of bins but we are always happy to manufacture in-house bespoke sacks to meet particular needs.

Retail Carrier Bags

We can supply a range of carrier bags, including patch handle, c-cut, punch-out handle & vest carriers.

Mailing Bags

Polythene mailing bags offer a versatile and cost effective packaging option for mail order products and to the growing online marketplace.They are lightweight and durable providing cost effective protection in transit. When printed they can also be a valuable marketing tool for your business.

Pallet Wrap

We stock a range of cast hand pallet wrap and machine wrap. Non-stock sized as well as blown film can also be supplied.

As a manufacturer, Craigavon Plastics has the in-house capability to manufacture a polythene packaging solution specific to your packaging requirements.

We have the capabilities to supply a range of sizes, thicknesses and coloured films to create the most suitable bespoke packaging product.

If printed packaging is the answer, the Craigavon Plastics print department has the facility to print up to 4 colours and we can outsource up to 8 colours from one of our trusted printed film suppliers.

Outsourced Bags

If your requirements are outside of our own manufacturing capacity we can outsource many products from a range of UK, European and Far East suppliers. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and consistent quality in products.
